I’ve had the pleasure of working with JS Photo Unlimited for so many special moments in our family’s life, starting with our wedding and continuing through newborn photos and first birthday sessions for both of our boys. There’s a reason we’ve continued coming back over the years!

Janice has captured some of the most important memories of our family, and they are photos that I’ll always treasure. She’s wonderful to work with, patient with the kids, and has always made us feel comfortable during our sessions. I especially love that she’s been there to document our family as it has grown; from our wedding day to becoming parents and celebrating our boys’ milestones.

Janice did a wonderful job capturing our newborn photos in the comfort of our home, including our dog, and the photos are something we will treasure forever. She was patient, warm, and made the entire experience feel so natural and special. Her packages were also the most reasonably priced I could find, and I especially loved that we were able to print the photos ourselves, which was very important to me.

Every year, when the leaves begin to change, we know it's time to meet up with Jan for our annual family photos. The entire process is smooth from start to finish. Jan communicates clearly, and her planning is always spot‑on. She's happy to travel to your favorite shooting locations, but she also has a great variety of sets available — our favorite is the antique truck. During the shoot, Jan works wonderfully with the kids, keeping the atmosphere fun and bringing out genuine smiles.

An Above and beyond photographer ❤️

I ended up winning my wedding photography from Jan after entering at a bridal show. I was a little nervous that because I had won there might be less effort put into my wedding, but I was completely wrong! Jan was amazing! She made sure  that we had a meeting to discuss our wedding. She made sure to stay in touch throughout the planning process so that the date of our rehearsal she was there and to be sure we were all on the same page and the wedding photography would go flawless!!! I was unsure on where to take photos and she came early to stake out the property/backgrounds. Her eye for this made some amazing pictures I would have never come up with. At our wedding she captured amazing shots!! Jan went above and beyond too. Most of my wedding was DIY. When we were cleaning up after, she lent a hand. I couldn’t believe what amazing service she provided. Even after our wedding, she stayed in communication and has been so helpful. She sent a few pictures right away and had our wedding gallery edits completed quickly too! I had an issue with one of the prints (to no fault of hers) and she fixed it in no time. Jan is a true GEM!!! I’m so thankful that she was a part of our big day!

Very Professional! Great service!

I hired Janice for her services for my wedding on 4/26/14. She was very compassionate with her work and made sure she got the perfect shots! Did an amazing job with my family and newborn (1 week old) Brought her own props. (Would still suggest having own props ready too). She did whatever and anything to capture best shots. Was sooo good with the kids and the newborn. She even picked baby up to feed. Very punctual on time and responsive through text. Great for the price too!

Like many, I was a little nervous to choose a photographer based solely on internet reviews rather than opinions from friends and people that I know/trust. But when I received a quote from Janice through an app, I gave her a shot and I’m glad I did!! Janice gave me a reasonable price for what I was looking for and she was proactive about communicating with me.

I planned a 50^th Anniversary party for my parents in CT while living in San Diego….so communication was everything! When she arrived at the party, she was nice and very receptive to what I needed. Janice had no problem with being asked to take different shots of different groups, interacting with different family members, and she was very good about capturing the moments!! I have only seen a preview of about 12 (or so) photos yet, but so far I LOVE THEM!  The lighting is great, the quality is great, and she was able to capture the essence of the day. I am excited about seeing the finished gallery. If I had one area that could’ve used a little more attention, I’d say that the contract was a little confusing at first and some points had to be explained to me a little clearer. That being said, Janice was happy to correct a few things on it and adjust pricing based on our conversation. Because of her professionalism and her great work, I would definitely hire her again and would recommend her to others!
